ALeF is a research project in applied law and bioengineering that brings together medical, legal and scientific expertise to foster the development of new human-relevant models and institutional solutions to protect patients’ interests and create new knowledge.
Its overall objective is the design of a comprehensive legal and scientific framework for the legitimate, safe and reliable supply of human-derived cells and tissues (HDCT) for research, based on the principle of open, non-discriminatory and qualified access
